The cinema of the United States has had a profound effect on cinema across the world since the early 20th century. The major film studios of Hollywood are the primary source of the most commercially successful movies in the world, such as Star Wars (1977) and Titanic (1997), and the products of Hollywood today dominate the global film industry. History
Origins

The second recorded instance of photographs capturing and reproducing motion was Eadweard Muybridge’s series of photographs of a running horse, which he captured in Palo Alto, California, using a set of still cameras placed in a row. Muybridge’s accomplishment led inventors everywhere to attempt to make similar devices that would capture such motion. The Kaufman Astoria Studios in Queens, built during the silent film era, was used by the Marx Brothers and W.C. Fields. Chelsea, Manhattan was also frequently used. Mary Pickford, an Academy Award winning actress, shot some of her early films in this area. However, the better year-round weather of Hollywood made it a better choice for shooting. There are several Upcoming Hollywood Movies lined up for release to entertain the audience.Some of them are ‘Flame & Citron’, ‘Alliens in the Attic’, ‘Funny People’, ‘Thirst’, ‘Lorna’s Silence’, ‘The Cove’ and many more.

One of the Hollywood new releases is ‘Adam’, directed and written by ‘Max Mayer’. The star cast comprises of Hugh Dancy as ‘Adam Raki’ and Rose Byrne as’ Beth Buchwald in the main lead.. The film has already marked it’s presence in different film festivals. At the ‘Method Fest’, it has already won an award for best feature(Max Mayer0. It has also won a ‘Alfred P Sloan feature film prize ‘at ‘Sundance Film Festival’ and a nomination for Grand Jury Prize. It is a story of two strangers Beth and Adam, how they form a relationship and portrayal of their romance.

The main reason for such a huge number of releases simultaneously is the growing mall culture. They have made movie watching a comfortable and more enjoyable experience. The main crowd of these movies is the young urban class, who is educated and has enough money at their disposal, to be spent to entertain themselves in style. There are other fun activities one can indulge in, in the beautifully designed malls. One can go for shopping and even grab a meal at the various eating joints in the mall. It is a relaxed exercise altogether-hanging out with friends and even making new ones, as many people throng the place frequently.
